Last night I talked to India. It was the first exposure I’ve had to outsourcing a part of a project I’m involved in and it may take a little while to get my head around it. I’m not sure I can explain it, but it just feels bizarre to know that while I’m sleeping someone on the other side of the world is working on the same code I worked on during the day. The whole situation has given me both an inferiority complex because I’m such a small cog both in a world-wide project and the world in general and a superiority complex because someone on the other side of the world is actually looking at stuff I did. Holy contradiction batman.
