I’ve been hit with quite a bit of comment spam over the last few days, so I thought it was time to deal with it. I didn’t want to shutoff comments completely. I don’t want to stifle the plethora of thought expression being expounded by all three of my loyal readers. So as a first stab at dealing with this problem I loaded up the Auto shutoff comments plugin. Since most of the comment spam was for old posts I’m hoping this will deal with 90% of the spam and yet still allow some time for comments on whatever drivel I’m spouting off about.
