Twitter Digest

Over the last few weeks, I’ve been conducting a bit of a Twitter experiment. The experiment itself is on going and I’ll write about it sometime in the future, but one of the fruits of the experiment is a WordPress plugin. I’ve been hacking WordPress plugins for a while now, but this is the first [...]

But come on, at least show the battle where the Baron gets shot down. 20:49:41 I think there was a good movie in there somewhere. AutoTagger

Finally found a WordPress plugin which does auto-tagging of posts by looking for a list of tags in the post content. I modified it a bit to make it also search for occurrences of existing used tags in the new post. I find this more handy since I can then just manage the regular WP [...]

The Switch

I’ve switched my main domain (whalespine.org) over to being run off WordPress and dropped the blog domain (spew.whalespine.org). The main reason was that I didn’t really have that much going on at the old site. For all 2.45 (and that is a generous estimate) of you who cared about what was on the old site, [...]

WordPress 2 and SSL

I prefer to have the admin section of my WordPress installation secure. It just makes me feel better. Then WordPress 2.0 came along and caused a few issues. I think I’ve gotten around them.
